Wi-Fi tether for rooted and non rooted android phone

Posted by Suhel Sayyad 2 Comments

Tethering :

It's one of the most convenient features your smartphone has, yet carriers insist on restricting it. most often refers to using your smartphone as a mobile hotspot.
In other words, it lets you connect to the Internet on your laptop, tablet, or Wi-Fi enabled device, using your phone's data connection. Tethering is very useful if you happen to be in an area that has no free Wi-Fi and you need to do your computing on a device other than your phone. In United States, many of the service providers charge their users for tethering the internet connection. The charges vary from 10$ to 30$ depending upon their service providers.
United States is the only country in the world where carriers charge you twice for the same internet you already paid for.  In countries like South Korea, Thailand, and the rest of the world, there’s no extra tethering monthly charges to use the wifi tethering feature.
Luckily, there are ways to circumvent wifi tether block on most Android smartphones or tablets (that support SIM cards) by installing tether apps.

Rooted Android Phones:

Step 1. Download Wifi Tether TrevE Mod app and install using ES File Explorer (or your favorite file manager app).  Make sure “Unknown Sources” is checked under Settings if it asks you to.
Download Wifi Tether TrevE Mod APK

Step 2. Open the Wifi Tether app, hit Menu button and hit “Settings”.

Step 3. Press on “Change Device-Profile”.

Step 4. Choose “Generic ICS/JB (wlan0)”.

Step 5. Choose “Change Setup-Method”.

Step 6. Choose “Netd-Ndc (master)”.

Step 7. Choose “Send Netd Max Client Cmd”.

Step 8. You can set your wifi encryption and SSID here to whatever you’d like.

Step 9. Make sure either “WiFi-driver reload” or “WiFi-driver reload 2″ is checked on.  If wifi tether fails for some reason you can change this to the one you didn’t use.

Step 10. Scroll down and make sure “MSS clamping” and “Routing fix” are both checked on.

Step 11. Turn on tethering by hitting the Wifi icon.

Step 12. You can check logs by hitting Menu button->Show Log.  If you don’t see any errors you are good to go.

Step 13. Now, try connecting to your wifi tether using your computer or another wifi device.  Once connected, it should show up under Access Control. (hit Menu then Access Control)

Step 14. Enjoy your wifi tether without paying carriers twice!

Don’t forget to share this with your friends on Twitter, Facebook, or Google+ thx!

Tethering apps for nonrooted phones

PdaNet: PdaNet is a free download on Google Play, but this only gets you a 14-day trial. After 14 days, the app will block access to secure websites (websites that require a login) unless you purchase the full edition for $15.95.

EasyTether: EasyTether is a USB tethering app, which means it lets you share your phone's data connection with your laptop via a USB cable. It also lets you tether your game console (PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, or Xbox) using PC Internet Connection Sharing (you need to go through a computer first to tether your console). EasyTether has two versions: a free Lite version and a paid $9.99 version.

BackLinks: An Important Factor to improve Website Ranking for making good business

Posted by Suhel Sayyad 5 Comments

Backlink

A link is a connection between any two web pages. You might have internal links between different pages on your site or external links that point from your site to other useful web resources. Links that go from another site to yours are called backlinks because they point back to your pages. Backlinks are also one way that Google determines PageRank in order to assess the popularity of a website. Inbound links were originally important (prior to the emergence of search engines) as a primary means of web navigation however today their significance lies in search engine optimization (SEO).
Websites often use various search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to increase the number of backlinks pointing to their website. Some methods are free for use by everyone whereas some methods, like linkbaiting, require quite a bit of planning and marketing to work.
From a search engine optimization perspective, links demonstrate a site's popularity. Essentially, every time a site links to your pages, it's saying that it finds them worthy of sharing with its readers. When search engine spiders find a site with lots of other sites pointing to it, they conclude that the site provides quality information that should be rewarded with high rankings.
So for starters, do you really know how many backlinks your website carries. Here is the solution to check the same. You can log on to www.woorank.com.

Boost Backlink Tips

  • Exchange links to your website with others. List them on your links page in exchange for them linking to you.
  • Article submissions. Writing articles in your area of expertise or about topics of interest are a great way to create backlinks. This is what I personally feel.
  • Social sites (Facebook, Twitter and Google+) and social bookmarking are also great ways to create backlinks, and it doesn’t have to be time consuming. Applications like Hootsuite allow you to propagate multiple sites.
  • Video submission sites are another manner in which to generate backlinks to your site and your uploaded videos

Create own Theme in Windows

Posted by Suhel Sayyad 3 Comments
Windows customization isn’t anything new, but with Windows 7, customization got a lot easier with theme packs. Here is how you can create your own theme pack from scratch.
Creating a theme pack from scratch is a lot more work than using built in tools, but it gives you a lot more flexibility by allowing you to creating brand icons, RSS background feeds, and customizing every feature which may not be easy to do through Windows native tools. When you are going to create a theme that you can share with others you will want to take into account what exactly you will be able to change that others will be able to use. Windows 7 theme packs allow you to customize the desktop background (including “slide show” backgrounds, and RSS feed backgrounds), screen saver, system sounds, desktop icons, mouse pointers, and system colors.

Customize your theme

Start the theme pack by gathering all the files you want to use for your customization. Remember to get items for every part you are going to customize. If you do not specify parts to theme, the system will use the defaults that come with windows. So if you don’t find a mouse cursor you like, Windows will use the default cursor for the system. Once you have the files you want, put them all in a folder that you can easily get to. I am going to be building a theme based on the Matrix wallpapers.
We will start the customization by generating the .theme file. This file is the heart of your theme pack and will tell Windows which media file to use where. The .theme file is really just a specially formatted text file so start by right clicking in your folder and creating a new text document. Name the file whatever you want and open it with your favorite text editor.
The .theme file is going to be broken up into sections. The first section is the [Theme] section. The [Theme] section only has two options, the theme display name, and the theme icon. The display name can be whatever you want the theme to be called in the control panel > personalize window, and the icon graphic must be a PNG file. The graphic will be scaled to 80×240 so use something close to that resolution or ratio.
Note: The theme icon will only show up under the Control Panel > Personalization window so don’t worry if you don’t see the icon.
The rest of the [Theme] section will tell windows which icons to use for the desktop icons (Computer, Documents, Recycle Bin, Network). For icon files you can use either standalone .ico files, or you can use icons embedded in .exe or .dll files also. For .exe and .dll files you need to specify which icon to use with a comma and then say which icon you are going to use. (my.exe,0 or my.dll,-50). Each desktop item has a unique screen that identifies it so make sure you use the right string for each item.
Computer = [CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\DefaultIcon]
Documents = [CLSID\{59031A47-3F72-44A7-89C5-5595FE6B30EE}\DefaultIcon]
Network = [CLSID\{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}\DefaultIcon]
Recycle Bin = [CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\DefaultIcon
Below each item you will specify the icon with DefaultValue except the Recycle Bin which will use values Full and Empty.
After the [Theme] section is the optional [Control Panel\Colors] and [Control Panel\Cursors] sections. The colors section would be extremely hard to adjust manually but if you really want to try it you can adjust the following items using RGB codes.
Note: RGB codes range from 0-255 and are separated by spaces. So black is 0 0 0 and white is 255 255 255.
ActiveTitle, Background, Hilight, HilightText, TitleText, Window, WindowText, Scrollbar, InactiveTitle, Menu, WindowFrame, MenuText, ActiveBorder, InactiveBorder, AppWorkspace, ButtonFace, ButtonShadow, GrayText, ButtonText, InactiveTitleText, ButtonHilight, ButtonDkShadow, ButtonLight, InfoText, InfoWindow, GradientActiveTitle,
GradientInactiveTitle
Instead of doing this section by hand you could also adjust the colors using the control panel > personalize > colors, and then save the theme file and then just copy and paste the colors section into the theme you want.
The [Control Panel\Cursors] section has an option for which .cur or .ani files you want to use for each cursor. The valid cursors you can replace are the following:
Arrow, Help, AppStarting, Wait, NWPen, No, Size, SizeWE, Crosshair, IBeam, SizeNWSE, SizeNESW, SizeAll, UpArrow
If not cursor is defined the system defaults will be used.
After these two sections comes the first mandatory section and that is the [Control Panel\Desktop] section. If you do not have this part of the file the theme will not be recognized as a valid theme. In here you will specify what the wallpaper image will be, how the image will be displayed and if the image is tiled or not. The three values you need are Wallpaper, TileWallpaper, and WallpaperStyle.
Wallpaper can be a .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .png, or .tif file. TileWallpaper is either a 1 or 0; 1 indicates the wallpaper should be tiled while 0 disables the tile. WallpaperStyle can be the following values. 0 means the image is centered, 2 means the image is stretched, 6 will fit the image to the screen, or 10 will will resize and crop the image to fit the screen.
After you have the [Control Panel\Desktop] section defined you can move on to the next optional section [Slideshow]. [Slideshow] is how you can make rotating backgrounds for Windows 7. This section has the following attributes: Interval, Shuffle, RSSFeed, ImagesRootPath, Item*Path (* represents which pictures will be included in the slide show). The attributes can be defined with the following values: Interval shows the amount of time to wait before changing the wallpaper image (in milliseconds), Shuffle is a 1 or 0 to determine if images are displayed in alphabetical order or shuffled, RSSFeed points to the URL of the images RSS feed you want to use, ImagesRootPath is the folder containing your images, and Item*Path determines how many items are included in the slideshow. Each Item*Path entry points to one wallpaper image so you need to specify each image manually.
Note: ImagesRootPath and RSSFeed cannot be used together.
Following [SlideShow] is another optional section called [Metrics]. [Metrics] section shows dimensions of various display elements, such as the window border width, icon height, or scrollbar width. The NonclientMetrics and IconMetrics values are binary structures defined by NONCLIENTMETRICS and ICONMETRICS in winuser.h. In other words, you probably don’t want to edit this section by hand. If you are going to change the value of any window boarders I would suggest doing that through the control panel and saving the modified theme. Then export the [Metrics] section into your desired theme. Non-the-less, here is an example of a [Metrics] section.
Next is the required [VisualStyles] section. This section allows you to point to a .msstyles file that can be modified for customization. If you use a .msstyles value in this section you will need to remove the [Metrics] and [Color] sections of your theme because the .msstyles will replace both of those sections.  The valid attributes are Path, Color, Composition, Size, ColorizationColor, and Transparancy. These options makes it easier to customize an already existing theme. For example, if you set the path attribute to %SystemRoot%\resources\Themes\Aero\Aero.msstyles you can easily begin customizing the default Windows Aero theme.
Following [VisualStyles] is the optional [Sounds] and [AppEvents] sections. For this section you can either specify each sound manually by using the path to a .wav file like so:
[AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\.Default\SystemExclamation]
DefaultValue=
Or you can specify one of the built in sound schemes with
SchemeName=
You can use one of the built in sound schemes or specify the .dll file containing the theme.
Following [Sounds] is the [Boot] section. The [Boot] section only has one value for SCRNSAVE.EXE point this value to whatever .scr file you want to use for your screensaver.
Finally is the required [MasterThemeSelector] which only has one attribute and you don’t have a choice for the value. The only thing that goes in this section is MTSM=DABJDKT which indicates that the theme is valid.
Once you have all of the required and optional sections in the file, save the file to whatever you want to call it and change the extension from .txt to .theme. Make sure you are viewing known file extensions when changing the extension otherwise the true extension will be hidden.

Packaging your theme pack

The final step it to package all of your media into a .themepack file. The .themepack file is simply a .cab file with an extension change. So if you already have software that can create a .cab file, simply use that software to compress your theme folder with all of your media in it and change the extension. If you don’t already have a cab packing program you can check out CabPack which is freeware.
Here’s an example of the Matrix Theme we built from scratch.

Conclusion

Once you have your theme pack you can apply it to your own system before sharing it. If there is anything else that needs tweaking you can either go back and change it in your .theme file your you can change it through the Windows GUI and then re-save the theme for sharing. Now go out there and share your favorite theme tweaks with the rest of the world.

Kies: Back up your Samsung Android Phone

Posted by Suhel Sayyad
Creating regular back ups of your smartphone, is an essential task for a number of reasons. You first have a safe copy of the data on another device that you can not only restore on the phone the data was originally backed up from, but also on other phones and even software applications. It also means that you still have access to data such as contacts, messages or your calendar even if your phone gets damaged or stolen.
Kies is the official Samsung software to handle this task. It can be used for other purposes as well, like updating the firmware of your Android phone or synchronizing data whenever the phone is connected to the PC via cable connection or wireless connection.

Back up your Samsung Android phone

The first thing that you need is the Samsung Kies software. You can download the program from the official Samsung website where versions for Microsoft Windows PCs and Apple Macintosh systems are offered.
The program picks up phone connections to the PC or Mac automatically and lists them under Connected Devices in the interface. You can use that option to browse data like music, contacts or photos on the phone directly without having to transfer the data first.
backup samsung android smartphone
To backup the phone select the phone from the list of devices connected to the PC. You should see four tabs on the right which handle various phone related features.
  • Basic information displays the free and used memory of the phone, the installed and latest firmware and options to enable automatic synchronization of date, transfers of back up date from non Samsung phones to the smartphone or tablet, and whether photos should be optimized automatically for device transfers.
  • Sync displays the information and data that you can synchronize with the PC or Mac. Personal information include contacts, the schedule and to do list. Note that you cannot sync other data like messages for instance.
  • Import and export enables you to transfer data from the PC to the device, data that is on a device to the PC, or date from one Android device to another directly.
  • Back up and restore is the feature we are looking for. Here you can select the Android items that you want to back up to the PC.
samsung android backup

The following items can be backed up to the PC:

  1. Contacts
  2. Schedule
  3. To do
  4. Messages
  5. S Note
  6. Call log
  7. Music
  8. Photos
  9. Videos
  10. Miscellaneous content files
  11. Preferences and ringtones
  12. Network settings and bookmarks
  13. Email account information
Click on the back up button on the screen once you have made the selection. A small overlay window pops up that displays the progress of the backup. Note that the processing time depends on a number of factors, including the used storage on the phone, the data connection between PC and Android device, and the PC itself. Make sure you keep the phone connected to the computer during the backup to avoid that the process is interrupted.
samsung phone backup

Restore a previously created backup

To restore a previously created backup click on the restore button on the same tab. Note that all existing date on the phone will be replaced by the backup and that running apps may be forcefully closed by the process.
You are then asked to select the backup that you want to restore. All backups found in the default location are automatically displayed, but you can load other backups with a click on the find file button here. It is recommended to compare date and time if you have multiple backups to make sure the correct backup is restored.
You can then select the items that you want to restore. You can restore all of them or only select items.

Things to consider

Samsung Kies can't be configured to create automatic backups of the Android device whenever it is connected to the PC.. The only backup-like feature that is automatic is the synchronization option, but that cannot be used to sync all data that is on the phone.

Hike: Good Messaging App for Android

Posted by Suhel Sayyad
Instant messaging (IM) has become a trend these days especially with the youth. A trend, pioneered by the immensely popular WhatsApp IM application, others like Nimbuzz and Samsung's proprietary ChatON messenger are trying to follow suit as well.

The latest entrant in this genre is Hike, a communication app that offers both instant messaging and SMS under one roof. Developed by Bharti Softbank, a 50-50 partnership between India's Bharti Telecom and Japan's Softbank telecom provider, the app is the brainchild of Kavin Bharti Mittal.

hike-mobile-verification-ios.jpg

Hike offers messaging in three different ways. Hike-to-Hike messaging with other phones is unlimited and free worldwide. Second, you can communicate with other smartphone users who don't have Hike via SMS, which is only restricted to India at the moment. Finally, you can message any other phone user via SMS. But beware, if you constantly bug another user with Hike, they are given a code that they can use to block you.

On the bright side, each Hike user gets 100 Free Hike SMS every month to message those friends who aren't on Hike., which gets replenished each month and in case any friend joins the app on your request via SMS, you get 10 Free SMS extra and the company will also be awarding each user with 50 free SMS per month for each friend they have invited to Hike. Other ways of inviting friends are through Facebook, Twitter and email.

hike-rewards.jpgThe user interface of Hike is very clean, simple and basic with pleasant hues of white and blue. Once you've downloaded the app, you'll be prompted to enter your mobile number. While the iOS version sends a 6-digit verification code via SMS that expires within a minute (reminiscent of Google Authenticator), the Android version simply greets you to the welcome screen asking you to enter your name and complete the registration. This is then followed by a tutorial of the app's basics.

Also, as soon as you enter the app, an Inbox message welcomes you with a reward of Rs.10. Every time you successfully invite a friend via SMS you earn credit of an additional Rs.20. In order for you to earn rewards, your friends must download and activate the app soon after you invite them.
Using the app is fairly simple. The app smoothly integrates your entire existing phone contacts. You can access various menu options such as Home, Invite Friends, Free Messaging and more by swiping left. Swiping right reveals Search bar along with Favourites and Friends on Hike.
Once you send a message you can see sent (S), delivered (D), read and typing (...) notifications, similar to WhatsApp, which has a different notification convention. Apart from the standard Emojis on your device, Hike has its own set of emoticons for variety.

Team India: Road to Success for ICC Champions Trophy 2013

Posted by Suhel Sayyad
The article is written to provide readers a brief record of success of Team India in the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy 2013. Team India, were the best team in the tournament and they have not given any opposition any kind of chance to get over them.

India v/s SouthAfrica

India's new-look ODI team got off to a bumper start, negotiating short-pitched bowling to post 331 and then fielding superbly to pull South Africa back every time they threatened to break away. MS Dhoni squeezed the life out of South Africa's chase with his shrewd employment of spinners.

Shikhar Dhawan celebrates his maiden ODI century

India v/s West Indies

Four years ago, almost to the day, in the same city of London, Ravindra Jadeja was a hare caught in the headlights. He could neither get out nor hit out, and his 25 off 35 in that Twenty20 match against England - India were knocked out of that World T20 - earned him what seemed like a lifetime of ridicule. He wasn't supposed to succeed at international cricket. He did. He wasn't supposed to succeed outside Asia at least. He has, for now. India won with 10.5 overs to spare. It didn't start off that easy after they put West Indies in. Johnson Charles, who scored 60 off 55, was an irritant for India, who had managed to get past Chris Gayle before he could do any real damage.
Dhawan was 96, Karthik was 47, and India needed eight when Bravo bowled short. Dhawan upper-cut it over third man, took off the helmet, stood with his arms aloft, and then played out five dots to let Karthik get to fifty in the next over. Karthik did so with a drive over extra cover.

India v/s Pakistan

Just like most of the cricket played in this hyped rivalry, the cricket at Edgbaston - this time because of the weather - was dreary and uncertain, but India eventually registered their first win over Pakistan in Champions Trophy. However, it was a dead rubber as India were already guaranteed the top slot in the group, and Pakistan the bottom. Their total of 165 all out was adjusted to 167 because of the rain break during Pakistan's innings. India got off to a solid start in response, and it mattered little that the rain eventually brought the target down to 122 in 22 overs. India won in 19.1 overs.

Semi Final: India v/s Srilanka

The only glitches in India's march into the final were two sets of pitch invaders running on to the field on two separate occasions. On a Cardiff surface with a lot of moisture, the ball seamed, bounced steeply and turned appreciably, and the Indian bowlers were all over Sri Lanka after winning the toss. In the afternoon, the Indian openers continued their run of impressive stands, adding 77 through some luck and some attractive shots, and India cruised home with 15 overs to spare. The pitch might have been great help, but India exploited the toss advantage with impressive accuracy. The first extra came in the 20th over. Angelo Mathews, among others, fought the conditions, but like others he too fell the moment he became adventurous.
Ishant Sharma struck twice in consecutive overs, India v Sri Lanka, Champions Trophy, 2nd semi-final, Cardiff, June 20, 2013

FINAL: India v/s England

Pinch yourself again and again. This match was completely out of the realms of reality. After the ICC - who hadn't considered it fit to have a reserve day for the final - added 75 minutes to the rainy day to accommodate 20 overs in the final, both sides panicked in the compressed environment; Ravi Bopara was the bowling demon for England; India defended 129 with slip, gully and silly point for spinners; Ishant Sharma, the most expensive bowler, was the first to bowl out and took two crucial wickets in his last over; and MS Dhoni led superbly to become the first captain in the world to have won all ICC trophies.
The only aspects of this game remotely real were the effectiveness of R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, and the early fluency of Shikhar Dhawan and Jonathan Trott. Around them, everything went topsy-turvy. The pitch turned square, despite all his efficiency Jadeja didn't attempt a crucial run-out, the third umpire seemed to make a big dubious call with Ian Bell's stumping, but then again there was Dhoni making a superlative call under pressure.
India had won a thrilling final of what has been a good tournament, but all was not right. This was hardly the ideal match. The ICC had only tried to cover its backside by stretching the match to 8.30pm. This match should never have been played today after the amount of rain Edgbaston had taken, but there was no tomorrow. So we had a match that put both the sides out of their comfort zones. The Indian batsmen had no rhythm going in and out, and England were playing essentially a T20 with three men who don't make the T20 side. Remember when the XIs were named at the toss, this was a 50-over game.

Review: Raanjhanaa Movie

Posted by Suhel Sayyad

STORY, SCREENPLAY AND DIALOGUES

Lets start our review with the story.
RAANJHANAA tells us the story of Kundan [Dhanush], who falls in love with Zoya [Sonam Kapoor] the moment he sets his eyes on her. The story takes a turn when Zoya goes to Delhi for further education. There, she falls in love with a budding politician [Abhay Deol]. But there are complications in this love triangle...
This story really is sufficient to make a movie look better. Now it is upto the screenplay, dialogues and narrative style of the director that movie takes one step forward. And I would say the screenplay is bit weaker for RAANJHANAA...
The pre interval portion has lot of things happening around in the screenplay, but the movie dips in the post interval portion but regains the attention after few moments. But the overall impact does not hamper much as in the Interval the audiences have made up with their mind that the movie is worth a watch. Next the dialogues...Yes, lots of efforts have been put over the dialogues and I must really say that the comic punches throughout the movie is mind blowing...

DIRECTION AND OTHER TECHNICAL ASPECTS

Anand Rai has very good style of narration. The movie really seems to be engaging and whatever is but on the hard bound script seems really to appear on the screen. The dip in the post interval portion, I would not say a fault of direction but it is the weakness of the screenplay writer. Other Technical Aspects like Editing of movie is OK.

PERFORMANCES

Lots to share here....DHANUSH...The Kolaveri guy has really put his heart into the character of Kundan. He makes you laugh, he makes you cry, he makes you dance and he makes you fall in love...Yes, it is he who is RAANJHANAA....His comic timing, emotional acting, dancing all are great. I would really like to see more from him. Audiances really wants more from him while watching him on silver screen and it happens onlybecause of his wonderful acting. He is MINDBLOWING.Deserves full marks..
Sonam Kapoor is pretty ordinary in her character. Pre interval portions she has done a comendable job. Post interval portions required more of emotions to be produced on screen, and I would say she really lacked in doing so..So I would say it was not 100% from her side. Abhay Deol has a supporting cast I would say in the movie. But whatever portion he shares is fantastic. He makes the character look so simple and does full justice to the same.
The supporting cast is unblemished and each of them pitches in a superior performance. Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub is a talent to watch out for. He's remarkable as Dhanush's friend. Swara Bhaskar is equally fab in a role that offers her plenty of scope to display histrionics. Kumud Mishra is first-rate. Vipin Sharma is adequate. Sujata Kumar is first-rate as the scheming politician.

Abhay Deol And Sonam Kapoor in Raanjhanaa Movie Stills

MUSIC

A.R.Rehman..This review is incomplete without mentioning name of this wonderful personality. His music is fantastic. The music -- the songs as well as the background score -- augment the impact on several occasions. The quality of music is supreme and each of the compositions has the distinctive Rahman stamp of uniqueness. The title track and Tum Tak songs are very close to heart and therefore one must say this has already made the early footfalls in the cinema halls for people like me.

FINAL VERDICT

Raanjhanaa is a MUST WATCH. Watch it for Dhanush. Apart from some clumsy post interval portions, the movie really makes you love, dance, laugh and cry.

10 tips to increase computer performance

Posted by Suhel Sayyad

Use a free software web browser

Not only are they considered more secure because it is open source, therefore anyone can help develop and fix it, it is also more obscure in general than the very popular Internet Explorer.

Clean corrupt windows registry this has a significant impact on computers' speed.

Intel Software and Partner Directory is a good place to select such cleaners. Other sites sources for different software selection are CNET, TuCows etc

Defragment your hard drive every one to two weeks

This tool can usually be found by right clicking a hard drive on "My Computer" and clicking on "Properties." Then click the tab "Tools."

Some applications install things on your computer that make it run slower

Things such as having hundreds of fonts will make it load slower. Spyware and Ad-Ware will also make your computer run slower so get a good spyware cleaner like Spyware Doctor, AVG etc. Some anti-virus programs although needed for a Windows computer will slow down your computer (but it is very risky to use internet without security).

Try not to change in-depth system preferences

This can cause unexpected results. If you do change them and do not like the results and cannot undo them, execute "System Restore." It is much like a time machine for your computer. There are three different ways to execute this program:

  • Open "My Computer" and click "Control Panel." There should be a "System Restore" somewhere.
  • Click your start button. Then choose "All Programs." Then go to "Accessories." Lastly, choose "System Tools." There should the be a "System Restore."
  • In case it is not in both places stated above, it is then in this file directory: "C:/WINDOWS/system32/Restore" with the executable named "rstrui." This is only available in Windows XP, as far as I know.

If you have a lot of videos or music, keep them organized

Also, keeping them all loaded in programs such as Winamp may cause your computer to run more slowly.

Clear your e-mail in box regularly

This helps a bit, but only on Thunderbird, MS Outlook or other E-Mail clients that save stuff to your hard drive; with webmail such as Yahoo Mail it will make no difference.

Don't use a huge graphic picture as your background wallpaper

This makes your computer to work a lot harder to paint this again and again on desktop background. It's the same as trying to load a large digital picture; it takes forever, at least for slower computers.

Change the computer theme to "Windows-Standard" (Start > Control Panel > Screen and desktop > Themes)

Change the computers desktop to none, and change the color to black or some other basic color

(Start > Control Panel > Screen and Desktop > Desktop)

Review : Chennai Express Song One Two Three Four and Official Trailer

Posted by Suhel Sayyad

Review for One Two Three Four Song

After making a masala entertainer trailer for Chennai Express, the team is back with the first song One Two Three Four. The duo Vishal Shekhar has composed the music for this one and you can see South Indian beauty Priyamani shaking her legs with King Khan of Bollywood Shahrukh.
The song has a catchy tune. The song makes you to get on the dance floor.

First time when we listen to the track, it makes us rate 6 on 10. But surely it deserves more than it. I would personally listen this one many a times. It really makes you feel the Chennai Shytle of dancing. Shahrukh Khan has made a great effort in making successful those dance moves and really we should admit it is an outstanding effort.

Here is the song for you people

Shahrukh Khan is back in Shytle. And this time he is back with Deepika Padukone and Rohit Shetty. The official trailer of Chennai really excites you. After watching the trailer, your heart says FIRST DAY FIRST SHOW. The South Indian actors and actresses taken as a support cast will surely be FANTASTIC experience to watch. Deepika too sounds funny but excellent in South Indian accent. And Shahrukh looks great in romantic, action and masala stanz....Hoping this movie break all shackles of BOX OFFICE and emerge as ALL TIME HIT..

Posted by Suhel Sayyad 2 Comments
In this post you will learn how to setup a fully function, great looking website. You don’t have to be a computer expert, or have any special software or fancy equipment to make a website.
In fact all you need to know how to do is click a mouse and type a few sentences. I’m going to show you how that is possible in this post.

You need

You will need the follow before making a website:
  • This guide (follow the three steps)
  • Time (around 10-15 minutes)
  • Technical Skills (none required)
  • Credit card/ Debit Card/ Netbanking (to pay for your domain)
  • Money (it will cost you around Rs 109 for your website)

Step 1 – Choose a domain name

The first step in making a website is to choose your domain name. A domain name is what you are going to call your website. To get a domain you have to register that name each year for a fee. www.suhelsayyad.com is my domain name.
Getting a domain is only the 1st of three things required to make a website, you also need web hosting and a website builder.
Your domain is important. I recommend either be a cool catchy name or a description of what your website is about.
Next question that comes into mind is WHERE DO I GET THIS DOMAIN...
www.godaddy.com is solution for you. This is the only cost you pay for the website.

Step 2 – Hosting

Website hosting is where you store your website on the internet (the files), this allows people to see it. Everyone around the world can view it once that has been done uploaded. It does however matter which web hosting company that you use and I will explain why below.
You are on my website right now about how to create a website. To do this I have to host it on a server in a warehouse somewhere so that you can come and visit my site. This requires no cost as you can easily do it using blogger as a service. You can create an account on blogger or link your existing google account to blogger and create and design your blog and link to your domain

Step 3 - Link your blogger to purchased domain

1. Open you godaddy myaccount page.

2. Click on Domains -- Launch for the purchased domain

3. Click on DNS Details and update the entries based on details given at your blogger setting page

YOU ARE DONE...Go Blogging and generating pages and customizing your website as per your needs..!!!
